Description: An annual initiative of LA Promise Fund, The Intern Project (TIP) places deserving high school students in paid internships based on their skills and career interests paired with a company’s unique values and needs. Students apply online, then we make matching recommendations based on their interests and the company’s job description(s).
Interns also participate in college and career related workshops such as: financial aid and college app webinars, resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and networking strategies workshops. We provide ongoing coaching to ensure their placement is successful.

San Fernando High School's DIY Girls are busy building whatever they want, literally. The freshman girls are learning how to solder in preparation for constructing a tech accessory that will make females between the ages of 13-19 feel a lot safer in their own community. 🔧
