Meet Your Team

Scarlett Park, Girls Build Program Lead

Picture
Hi! I'm Scarlett Park, and I'll be your main point of contact for Girls Build. Want to brainstorm ideas for your civic engagement event? Having troubles with finding something? Need additional guidance and want to check in? I'm here to help! You can reach me anytime at [email protected].

A little bit more about me - I am a first-generation immigrant woman of color who was raised by an immigrant woman of color in a single-mother, low-income household. I was also the first person in my family to graduate from college. This is where I come from, and this is the community that I work for.

Every single project, coordinator, and student that I get to meet teaches me something new about the importance of engaging young minds. Girls Build uniquely taps into the limitless brilliance of our girls, who in turn engage their communities in culturally-competent and innovative ways using 21st century skills. As we power the future leaders, creators, and inventors of tomorrow, I'm continually assured that the future is indeed female.
