Started in 2014, the Girls Build initiative quickly established itself as one of the most powerful and impactful youth events of our time.
Girls Build has brought together tens of thousands of LA-based young women with some of the leading figures today to talk empowerment and engagement: Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Janelle Monáe, Octavia Spencer, Dolores Huerta, Shonda Rhimes, and more.

As Girls Build grew, we realized we could be doing more.
The LA Promise Fund is partnering with YoMo’s Science + Tech Festival to present Hello Future 2019. Building off our Girls Build Summit and the goal of The Intern Project to diversify Los Angeles' workforce for the future, Hello Future was created to strengthen STEM career pipelines.
Hello Future is an interactive experience designed to ENGAGE, INSPIRE, and EMPOWER young people from middle school through college by bringing them together with today's most disruptive entrepreneurs, tech innovators, and brands.
