In addition to and leading up to the yearly GirlsBuild Challenge, GirlsBuild hosts an annual GirlsBuild Summit, an interactive experience designed to ENGAGE, INSPIRE, and EMPOWER over 50,000 young girls of color from middle schools and high schools nationwide.
We bring them together with today's most powerful leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers to tackle the critical issues that shape the lives of our girls and our communities. Some of our past speakers include: Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Janelle Monáe, Octavia Spencer, Dolores Huerta, Shonda Rhimes, and more. |
