Sivi Ananthasingam currently serves as the Client Relations Associate for Ellevate Network in New York, where she is responsible for supporting and strengthening Ellevate's corporate and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Ellevate, Sivi worked in program development to prevent gender-based violence at USC.
For the past few years, Sivi has been building a not-for-profit called Glia Mental Health. Named after the support cells in the brain, Glia aims to provide peer support groups to college students suffering from depression via an easy-to-use app.
Sivi graduated with a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and a Master's in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. Fun fact: Sivi's last name means "happy lion."
Sivi's strengths: I love approaching problems with different perspectives in mind because everything is connected no matter how unrelated they may seem, like science and business or mental health and technology. I'm excited to share my journey as a female entrepreneur, skills in design thinking and using business to create social impact, and how to build strong relationships with potential mentors and partners.
