Week of February 11, 2019

Last week a team asked: There is a heated argument between team members about which design to choose for our event. How do we resolve this?
Thank you to the people who responded with some ideas:

• Set up a decision matrix based on the criteria that the team sets and have them vote based on that criteria so that bias doesn't leak into the conversation.
• Take the ideas and reach out to your core audience. Get your audience to decide, as it is meant to appeal to them. It is not personal within the group.

This week a team asked:  It is difficult to get field trips to locations that are not already approved by the district but we want to go to a local retirement home.  We know we can host the event at school but the retirement communities said it would be difficult for the citizens to come out to the school. We are trying to think of solutions but wondered if you had any thoughts or idea that might have worked in the past.
